Baptism A preparation class is required for parents and sponsors. These classes are offered on the third Monday of the month in the Parish Hall at 7:00pm. Please call the parish office to register for the class or to schedule the baptism. |

Penance Confessions are heard in the church every Saturday from 4:00 - 4:45pm. Communal Penance Services, with an opportunity for individual confession and absolution, are held twice a year during the seasons of Advent and Lent. |

Confirmation Confirmation is available to all teens of the parish who have attained 9th grade or older. Classes begin in the fall and the Sacrament of Confirmation is usually received in the spring. |

Holy Communion The guidelines of the Church require that the child celebrate Reconciliation before First Eucharist. The Archdiocesan guidelines state that we are to have a year of formal religious education before a sacramental year of celebration. |

Marriage The Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon requires a marriage preparation course prior to the wedding. A weekend Catholic Engaged Encounter retreat, and participation at Saint Luke Catholic Church are required to fulfill the marriage preparation requirements. |

Anointing of the Sick When you or a family member are hospitalized or are homebound and are in need of this sacrament, please call the parish at 503-981-5011. This sacrament is for healing and should occur early in the illness and when the patient is able to participate in it. |
